He was last heard from in about 2006 after he had been hit by a train and was on crutches. The family would very much like to know what happened to him. One person suggested contacting the Slovakian Red Cross. Another person in Michigan who I give great thanks to called a friend in New Jersey who in turn called me. He told me that Monsignor Kocsis is alive and well. In fact this person had people from Doboruszka staying with him at the time and knew the Monsignor. My friend from Church was ecstatic. Then just a few days ago I received another telephone call from a Father Joseph Vamos from Indiana. He had read an article of mine that I had written for our Fraternity Magazine and recognized the name. Father Vamos told me that in July he visited Monsignor Kocsis in Europe, had lunch with him, took some pictures and said that he looked very good. I am hoping to get some of these pictures to give to my friend in Church. This is truly a Hungary Mailing List Success Story.
