The Oakland Tribune California Aug. 11, 1947 Hungarian Beauty Takes Her Own Life Los Angeles Despondency over the fate of her parents in a European displaced persons camp was blamed today for the suicide of Gisella CSOMOR, 19, beautiful Hungarian girl who planned to marry an American doctor within two weeks. Miss CSOMOR came here to live with the family of her fiancee, Dr. Eugene L. MAC FARLANE, 26, whom she met in a refuge camp near Cham, Germany. She shot herself at their home yesterday. A note read "I can't take this life anymore and I don't think there is any goodness left in the world."
