Everyone knows the Hungarian Revolution is dated 1848, not 1849. CORRECTED: Cheryl, You are a "dear heart" for finding and posting all those wonderful Hungarian old newspaper articles. Thank you so much. In particular, the story of the 1848 Revolution and the story of Lajos Kossuth can't be told enough, to educate people on his importance in history and especially his ties to the U. S. I will repeat....Kossuth is the second foreign dignitary to be invited to speak before the U. S. Joint Session of Congress. The first person was Lafayette. Marika
