Tárkány was indeed in county Komárom (district Gesztes), but Tés was/is in county Veszprém, district Zirc (and LDS list it as Teés). Nagy Tarkany for Roman Catholic Church Records was in Zemplen Megye. It is no longer part of Hungary to my knowledge. There is also a Kis Tarkany. Grandfather Muszka Mihaly was born and baptized in Damoc, Zemplen Megye but the Roman Catholic Church was in Nagy Tarkany.
