I had a big surprise today at my local Post Office. I asked the clerk how much did it cost for an International Coupon and she told me that they were discontinued! I suppose it has been a long time since I have written to Hungary and didn't expect that answer. It was always nice to enclose the coupons to people I was corresponding with so that they didn't have to pay for postage to reply to me. It was pretty much a given that they would respond since the only thing they needed to give was a few minutes of their time. This was something that I learned early on when writing for information even to people in the U.S. where a self-addressed stamped envelope was always enclose with a letter. What a disappointment!
