Depending on the time period, did you check Castle Garden in NY? It was the forerunner of Ellis Island. I found my Swiss coming in 1825 on that list. Just a thought. Mrs. LANG died Monday at the Lake county sanatorium. Internment in the Elmwood cemetery with Rev. Tibor Toth officiating. Mrs. LANG has been a resident of the county for 27 years, the last 14 of which have been in Hammond. Prior to that she resided in East Chicago, Indiana where she was an active church member and a charter member of the Ladie's Aid Society.
