Author: daysan63 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.huling/12.13.37.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: If anyone is still looking,,my Aunt, Mary Manning,85 yo, grand daughter of Charles F Johnson of Columbus and daughter of Cyrus H Woodbury, just filled me in on how my Lake George and Columbus connections were made and how it connected me to Cyrus Huling..What an amazing coincidence how all this comes together..In my case the connection was started from my father's side thru his mother,,Pheobe Baker,of Albany NY..This was made by way of a college friendship she had with a Huling in Columbus that lived on Fairway Blvd down the street from Charles F Johnson. Art Huling's wife or Cyrus Huling' sister-in-law I believe.. Which led to the marriage of my father to a Woodbury,,.My aunt's younger sister Lois,,I had always thought my father had met my mother in the Lake George/Albany area but now it seems everything took place in Columbus. This is fascinating.I guess that would make him my great great grandfather??Going one step further,I have roots with 'Hackett' mayor of Albany at one point before his untimely death..It really does strikes me as an amazing coincidence how close the two sides of my family were in different locations around the country Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
