    3. Thanks Paul. I will check out Marcus in NJ and see what I can find. But, I am most interested in what happened to Harrison Huling. His brothers were already in California, where he was headed. Farmed his children out to others. Luckily, most went with his step daughter Lorinda Pate Patterson and her husband, Charles, my gr gr grandparents. Just wonder if he ever made it. Have found no trace of him. Maybe some more of the Huling clan from New Jersey made it to California and I can look for them to find a hint. Thanks again. I have not come across William or Harrison in my line, but the Swedish roots are in New Jersey, starting with Marcus Laurenson Huling in about 1640. > > > Good luck and best wishes, > > > Paul Huling > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Don Huling <dwhuling@comcast.net> > To: huling <huling@rootsweb.com> > Cc: Dee Bardes <dillon8@mac.com>; Sharon Leon <Richardsharon4@aol.com>; Richard Hulan <hulan@erols.com>; Jerry Huling <k2oxh@jps.net>; Jon Van Winkle <jon-van-winkle@juno.com>; E.
