Mrs. Beekman Huling, who attained her eighty-third year last Friday, (having been born December 8, 1799, four days before George Washington died), had a family party at dinner, consisting of her son and daughter (E.J. Huling and Mrs. Caroline M. Searing), Col W.M. Searing, three grandchildren (B.H. Searing, Carrie M. Searing and Carrie A. Huling), Mrs. B.H. Searing, and two great grandchildren, (S.Carrie and William J. Searing). Letters of congratulations were read from grandchildren Mrs. George Oberne, Mrs. M.J. Ainsworth and John B. Huling, Chicago; William M. Searing and wife, California; E.J. Searing and wife (Carrie) New York; Mrs. N.L. Adamson, West Arlington, Vermont; and Mrs. K.B. Finley, Sommerville, Massachusetts; and great grandchildren George N. Oberne of Chicago and Katie M. Ainsworth of Somerville.
