I have some information that comes from the book "Huling Genealogy-Descendants of James & Margaret Huling of Newport, RI & Lewes, DE". There is a Lydia, dau. of Alexander, b. ca 1746, d. 1819 in N. Kingstown, RI. She had 2 daughters (no husband listed), Mary (1763-1801) & Nancy (b<1774-?). Nancy m. Jeremiah Wilson Pollock between 1794 & 1797. They had Lydia b. prob. 1794; William b. perhaps ca 1795; son b/d May 1797; & Sarah. The book list several sources. If you want, I would scan those pages for you. Contact me at <dhuling@verizon.net> In addition, some book addenda data had come to me per the following: NANCY6 HULING, b. 2 July 1773, d. 16 April 1816, m. 6 Jan. 1795 to Jeremiah Wilson Pollock, b. 1769 in Wakefield, R.I. to William and Mary (Torrey) Wilson. Mary was the daughter of Rev. Samual and Mary Perrene (Rawson) Torrey. Mary Rawson’s father was Edward Rawson, First Secretary of the Colonial states. Jeremiah was possibly married second to Marvel Perkins. He was a postal carrier and a Whig. On 23 Oct. 1824, he was murdered in Sterling, CT, as was his brother two months earlier. (Add. 4 info from Jean Bellemer & Kathy Repp) Children, surname POLLOCK, i. SALLY7, b. 23 Oct. 1794. ii. LYDIA, b. 10 March 1795. iii. WILLIAM W., possibly b. 10 March 1796. iv. I am looking for info on my ggrandparents, but have VERY little to go on. All I know is that my ggrandmother's name was Elizabeth Huling and that she married Francis Marion Parmenter. I'm not even sure how many children they had. However, their last (only?) child, my grandfather, Daniel Claire Parmenter was born 5/5/1886, I think in NE. There is a notation beside his name in my grandmother's (his wife) family tree saying that his mother died soon after he was born and his father left him to be raised by neighbors (the Lysingers whose name my grandfather took) in Nebraska. I know this isn't much to go on, but can anyone help?

I previously missed Abraham because his name was spelled "Hulings" in the 1850 census. I also found Abraham & Nancy in Omega Cemetery, Fulton Co, Ind - not in Hoover Cemetery. William married 1863 Catherine Elizabeth BURDGE. Catherine is a *very* distant cousin to me.
