I don't remember seeing mention of this novel on this list, but apologies if it has already been mentioned. I am reading The Virgin Blue by Tracy Chevalier. It is a novel about an American woman searching for her French Huguenot ancestors. The author had a subsequent hit with Girl With A Pearl Earring, so the publisher is reprinting this earlier novel. I am finding it good summer reading. Plus, how often is does a novel revolve around genealogy, and Huguenot genealogy, no less?
