Hi Jocelyn and the rest of you Guys On 14 January Jocelyn Bond posted an enquiry about the GALIEGUE family. So armed with Jocelyn's original message, my trusty CDRoms (including some I have for evaluation) and my increasing collection of publications, I've had a look to see whether I could find any references to them. Not going to go through where they were NOT, BUT, in Part 4 of the Hug Soc Threadneedle Street Church Extracts there are 9 entries covering 5 names for GALIEGUE, 3 mis-spelt and then corrected to GALIEGUE and 2 to GALIEGUES, all of which seem to come from the same family/families. In addition, there are two entries in the extracts for the Church of St Jean, Spitalfields, somewhat later than the Threadneedle Street extracts, which ties up with Jocelyn's original message, putting the family right in the Huguenot community east of the city walls.
