Hi Marc Great ideas, I'll be looking at them for sure, but be careful, Smiles has been done and is copyrighted on line. Tony Fuller
Ah. But, as I read US copyright laws anyway, a photofacsimile edition is *different* than an online copyrighted edition (which usually requires textual amendations for copyright to be established). I'm just taking pictures of historical artifacts (deliberately, as I am no fan of most copyright regimes, for precisely this kind of potentially chilling effect). And I not engaged in distribution, really -- I'm relying on you all to be meme-tic here, and point people who need such things to the places where they can be found. I'm not a lawyer, and I don't play one on TV, but I think I'm in the clear here. And if I'm not, I'll post a copy of the cease-and-desist orders I get ;-> (Here would be found my rant on people who try to use legfal regimes to monetize our shared historical record. May they find their own special place in H...)
