Hi - I'm trying to find Nicholas LeHu - he was born in 1638. He might have been born in England but the information I got from someone else suggests that he was among a group of English orphans indentured to Northumberland County, VA. He was 14 at the time. In Virginia his son (Peter) hung out with the Huguenots near Manakintown. My info has the family as being both Catholic and Protestants so I'm not positive he was a Hugueont (sigh), but family tales has him being one. Does anyone know or can suggest places to look? I have no idea what his parent's names might be... or what town? or even the spelling of his last name, since it is spelled so many different ways today. I know, it's a real puzzle! thank you!
