Ok then to return to the real objective of the exercise ............. CHAUVIGNY - Only one hit in the 80 odd documents/books etc that I can search electronically (UK/US stuff that is) - and that seems to be a place in the Vienne rather than a person! And nothing in the first 26 volumes of Proceedings though some vaguely sounding, if the wind is blowing from the right direction, hard of hearing clerical mistake type sound alike perhaps names do appear.
