Hello Martin: There is a book entitled THE HERETICS that has references to a group of Cathars in Northern France just about the time of the Albigensian Crusades - I suspect some of the Flemish knights were involved in clearing out the Cathars in Languedoc but there is no particular reference to any individuals, towns in the north, etc. If you lookup THE HERETICS on Amazon.com you can probably get the author's name.
