There are several editions of this great book. The 1957 edition that I have is abridged, but still good. I found it on the Internet used for about 15 US Dollars. The Rivasson that they meet while in prison is Samuel de RIVASSON, a distant cousin of mine from Bergerac. When Samuel saw the terrible state of Jean Marteilhe, he and his friend decided to abjure even though his Uncle was a Huguenot pastor.
