I'd like to add a query to Andrea's request regarding migration routes: I've tried to find something online regarding how long it would have taken to sail from the south of France to the Netherlands in 1685 aboard an adequate vessel, but haven't found anything that correlates to that specific time and and to the general locations. I'm assuming it would have taken weeks based on some things I've read, but would like to find something that would give a reasonable gauge of time.
