Hi Vivienne You really need to let us have some more information about your family before we could answer you - have you done any research that suggests that the family may be Huguenot/Walloon/Protestante, effectively, how far back have you gone? If they did arrive around the time of the Boyne, it may be easier to track them but cannot al;ways be sure. Also if you're a NI Protestant, it is equally likely that your family came from Scotland where there were very few European Protestante refugees compared to England and the south of Ireland.
