    3. Thank you for your most generous offer Andrea... My look up request is for John DOUTHIT...this surname could have a wide range of spellings (and mis-spellings) John DOUTHIT was born 9 May 1709 in Coleraine, N. Ireland the Presbyterian weaver son of Robert Andrew DOUTHIT (b 1684, Coleraine). He was the son of Andrew DOUTHIT (b 1657, Aberdeen). I would also like to request a look-up for the JOB(E) or JOAB surname. I had thought that they were Welsh (from Fishguard, Wales) but I saw some notes recently that indicated they were a family of Weavers who had fled religious persecution. The inter-married with the DOUTHITs in Rowan Co. NC after migrating there from Frederick Co MD and Chester Co PA. My earliest JOB was Thomas JOB (b 1655, in New England). His son John JOB was born in PA...his grandson Thomas JOB was born 1710 in Chester Co PA ; married Mary GORDON in VA abt 1740 and died 15 Nov 1787, Rowan Co NC Thanks again for whatever help you can provide...this is so nice of you...malinda
