I discovered these sites when one of the French listers told us about a phenomenal search engine at www.copernic.com There are three or four versions, one of which you can download free!!!!! As regards the huguenot sites. It looks as if I'm blowing my horn with the first one - but I'm not... Here's the story.... Trawling through the web one very late night, I came across the name AURIOL... The gentleman in question had a website for all of the name Auriol. In it he surmised that there was an English/protestant branch. I sent him an e-mail to tell him that I had, about twenty years ago, written the definitive genealogy of the auriol family of Switzerland and Britain, and would , as a matter of courtesy, send him forty odd pages by fax.... I never heardca peep from him... and promised myself , after two weeks that I would never try to help someone again. It was only when I downloaded copernic that I discovered that he had thanked me in his own way! The sites are in French, but anyone who can understand it should try them! Bye for Now! Pierre
