    3. Dear John and other Huguenot listers, As mentioned below in my last message, I ordered the Friedrichstal church records book from Heritage Books. It came today. It is wonderful! It has a short introduction about the town and founding, transcriptions of the baptisms, marriages and a few deaths in the community from 1698 to 1812. Also, it has a very helpful index of names and a great translation glossary in the back of words in the records. The earlier records are in French and later are in German. Here is the information on the book: Friedrichstal Church Records 1698 - 1812, by Cathryn S. Dippo 1999, Heritage Books, Inc. 1540E Pointer Ridge Place, Bowie, Maryland, 20716, USA Phone: 1-800-398-7709 www.heritagebooks.com I just found the book listed in their catalog as I was searching or another book. The cost to me (I live in USA) was $61.00 + $4.00 shipping The surnames that I am most interested in are: FUESSLER/FUSSLER/FUSSELER GORENFLO HORNUNG I'll be glad to check the index for surnames for anyone and if there are entries you need, I'll look them up. Some names have many, many entries, so in that case, you'd probably do better to get your own copy.
