Hello, listers -- Re: 1874 book by Samuel SMILES: "The Huguenots in France: After the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes' which was mentioned by Jim <jamesr@sprint.ca> today (5 Dec). If anyone is interested in a copy of their own, there are two used ones listed for purchase online at www.bookradar.com. Both are available from US book dealers (one in NY, the other in VA) and the price is in US dollars (one at $24 and the other at $50). I have no explanation for the vast difference in these two prices. The condition of both books is described and, obviously, for books that are c130 years old, they are not in pristine shape. By posting this message, I am not advertising for Bookradar or recommending them. And I do not have any financial interest in this company. I am merely letting you know that this resource is one to check if you are looking for out-of-print or hard-to-find books. Often, copies of books are located in the UK as well as North America. In these cases, prices are quoted in pounds sterling. I haven't seen any books listed through book dealers in Australia/New Zealand but I suppose it's possible. Andrea
