I would like to add these two surnames: BILLIBEAU: St. Narzaire, Santonge, FRA> SC, VA, USA FAURE/FORD: FRA> SC, VA, USA The BILLIBEAUS came from St. Narzaire, Santonge, France to South Carolina and to Manakintown, Virginia, USA with their relatives: the GUERINS. Mathurin, Francois, Peter, Vincent and Thomas Guerin were the children of Pierre Guerin and Jeanne Billibeau of St. Narzaire, Santonge, France. The parents did not come to America and probably were killed in France. The children, all adults except Thomas (age about 11 yr.), came to Charleston, SC, USA about 1680. A James Billibeau did come about the same time to Charleston, South Carolina and a Jacque Billibeau came to Manakintown, VA, USA. Daniel Guerin/Guerrant )son of Henri Guerin) came to Manakintown, VA from St. Narzaire, Santonge, FRA and Etienne Guerin came from St. Narzaire to New Paltz, NY, USA. Members of the Faure family came to Manakintown, VA, USA and to South Carolina, USA. They seem also to be associated with the Guerins. Thomas Guerin, the young child of about 11 years mentioned above, married Mary Faure/Ford in 1712 in SC, USA. I would really love to learn more about these families back in France.
