Listers -- In my previous post re: Malt-house Chapel, I seem to have been mixed up as to who was Queen of England in 1709. (Thanks to Betty for pointing this out!) The Queen at the time was not, of course, Queen Elizabeth I who had died over 100 years before (1603). It was Queen Anne (born 1665), the second daughter of James II, and she reigned only from 1702 to 1714. She was a devout Protestant and the last of the Stuart line.
