Listers -- First, thanks to all of you who have posted your surnames to add to the website surnames list. BUT I have an urgent request please! When posting in this way, please....please.....<snip> (ie. *delete*) any of the A-G and H-Z surnames lists that I posted earlier today, which may still be attached at the end of your own message. It is not necessary to send these back to the list once again as part of your own posts! But this is exactly what has happened a couple of times already. Please *shorten* your posts by snipping out (deleting) any unnecessary content from previous posts. Think of the waste of space in the list archives, with the same long lists of surnames which are now in there several times over. Also, consider that some European subscribers pay ISP fees based on the length of time it takes messages to download -- and longer messages take longer to be received.
