Listers -- I am hard at work on the list website right now (I know....it's been a long time and I've said this before.....keep your fingers crossed!). Part of this website will include surnames submitted by those of you on the list. Some of you have done this already. I will be posting this list separately. It has become so long now that I've divided it into two parts -- surnames A-G and H-Z. If you would like to add surnames to it or make additions, changes or corrections to ones already there, now's the time to do it. So, I am asking that anyone wanting to submit surnames or changes please post them to the list anytime now. They should *not* be sent to me privately. BUT......to make my job much much easier, I ask/beg/plead for the following: 1) Subject line of your post should indicate you are submitting surnames for the website surnames list, eg. write your surnames, then something like Website Surnames List. 2) Submit surnames *only in the format shown* in the two A-G & H-Z surnames posts. That is: SURNAME in capitals, followed by date & location > date & location, etc. 3) I am eliminating first names (to make things simpler), so please do not include them. 4) Include the country in your locations (see accepted abbreviations in the surname posts). 5) If you submit more than one surname, please list them *in alphabetical order* in your post, and, of course, in the correct format. 5) Submissions *must* mention at least one European, UK or Irish location, ie. none with US locations *only* (this fits in with our geographical focus). If mentioning US locations, please include states *only*, not towns/cities or counties (again, this is to simplify). More info on the website to come. I will be asking for your advice. Andrea
