    3. Why do you suggest 'most' settled in Galway. Most of the historians i have read consider Portarlington and Dublin mainly, with Cork, Waterford,Lismore and smaller centres following. A good book ed. by Caldicott, Gough & Pittion "The Huguenots & Ireland" Glendale Press (1987) can be recommended. Shirley Arabin.
