Greetings Listers, Can anyone shed light on the authenticity of the claim of nobility by the WALDRON family? According to our family genealogy, BARON RESOLVE WALDRON was born in Waldron Hall in old Amsterdam, Holland in 1608. He is said to be the original owner and Patentee of the HARLEM lands in NEW HARLEM on MANHATTAN ISLAND. He married REBECCA HENDRICKS in 1646, who died in 1652. His second wife was LADY TANNEKE VON NAGLE, daughter of BARON VON NAGLE of AMSTERDAM, in 1654. One of the children of the second union was ANNETJE WALDRON, who married JOHANNES DELA MONTAGNE, grandson of DR. JOHANNES DELA MONTAGNE and RACHEL DEFOREST.
