Fellow listers -- Here are the results of a GRD look-up requested from Hugh <HDELMAR@aol.com> on 16 Sept for surnames SIX, SY, SAYE, SAEY, SOY in French Flanders in the 1660s. Sorry but there were no listings found for any of the surname spellings mentioned. However, there were some listings for SAY and SEE, and I'm including them here even though the locations are not French Flanders, just in case they are of interest. One person is researching SAY in various locations and times in England, as follows: a) George SAY 1730-50 in Ubley, Somerset, ENG b) all time periods, Somerset & Wiltshire, ENG c) James SAY 1780-1820 in Melksham, Wiltshire and d) Alfred Frderick SAY 1827 in Melksham, Wiltshire. The researcher is Brian SAY, living in NZ. His e-mail address is briansay@clear.net.nz. There is a phone and fax number for him as well which I can supply if needed. Another person is researching SEE in two very different locations and time periods: a) 1849+ Hinton, NSW, Australia and b) pre-1734 Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire, ENG. She is Mrs. V. Rose, 12 Wells Street, Adamstown, NSW 2289, AUS. Sometime during the next week, I will be posting surname extracts from parish of All Saints in Canterbury. There were a few SIX surnames found there (late1600's-early 1700's), so stay tuned. Andrea
