    3. Good news to report, everyone, concerning the Threaded Archives. (Those of you who have been here for a while will know that there has been a Threaded Archives problem since mid-March when Rootsweb ran out of disk space for it, resulting in many missing messages.) I just had a look at the Threaded Archives and was very pleasantly surprised. After many months of waiting, everything appears to be fixed. It also has a whole new appearance which is more user friendly. For one thing, there is no longer any requirement to type in a username and password. And, most importantly, all messages appear to be there -- finally!! -- including the great chunks missing in April, May and June. So, everyone, please have a look at the Threaded Archives for yourself at: http://archiver.rootsweb.com/Huguenots-Walloons-Europe-L. Once there, you can choose the month you want to look at, and then choose to either have the subject lines arranged chronologically or by related subjects. Then click on a specific subject line in order to see the whole message. And, just so everyone is aware, the Keyword or Interactive Archives is still available, as an alternative way to search past messages. It was never "broken" and remains the same (no new design). You can search this archives by typing in one or more keywords. It's at http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl. Finally, a comment about our September archives -- it's looking a bit empty, folks. List posts have been way down this month. (Where are you all??) Why don't we celebrate the new Threaded Archives by putting some really great posts into it during September?? Please think about it. Remember: a mailing list=sharing of info. But no postings=no sharing=dead list! Please help me to revive ours. Andrea
