Hello, list -- thought I would give everyone a wee break from my look-up posts and do something else. So.....here are some surnames extracts taken from the BT's (Bishop's Transcripts) of the parish of St. Paul in Canterbury. It's similar to posts I have done in the past for Canterbury parishes of St. George, St. Margaret & St. Peter. This info is to be found on LDS film # 1736628, which begins at 1730 (the earlier dates are on another film). This is Part 1, covering dates 1730-1750. This was not one of the Canterbury churches which was heavily attended by the refugees but there are still quite a few names of interest. Notice how some of the same names keep popping up from previously posted parishes. Please remember my earlier cautions re: these extracts, ie. verify any info from original records for yourself. Also, I don't know for sure if the following names are Huguenot/Walloon in origin -- I am merely making guesses, picking the "possibles & probables". I could be wrong. Hope this helps somebody.
