Erlangen is a lovely city. While I lived in the Erlangen, Germany area, I use to attend the Hugenotten Kirche (Huguenot Church) on the Bahnhofplatz (Train Station Plaza). I noticed many French names on store fronts. At the Univ. of Erlangen (Friedrich Alexander Univ.), where I studied Chemistry, I noticed an unusual and large Huguenot Fountain (Hugenotten Brunnen). Nearby towns like Nuernberg have many descendants of French and Austrian Protestant families. Bob in Germantown MD
