I am looking for information on the Levis family line. The Levises went from France to England around the 1500's Around that period was Alexander de Levis (Alexander Levis de Mirepoix) There was a Robert Levis B:???? D:1558 in England The Levis family was said to have Fled from France being Huguenots. I am trying to make that connection. Some Levis family returned to France to keep the title of Lord of Mirepoix. The other part of the family stayed in England. This is where my family line begain in England for the Levis family. I have been directed down many dead ends. I am trying to make a connection to the families. Since there was documented in old records that a Duke de Levis fled to England. I would like to know who.
