Hi Roy Day mentions the GENEALOGIQUE BIBLIOTHEQUE PARIS for a source of GODEFROY from Normandy, can Roy or anyone tell me how I can access this, my local reference library cannot help. In answer to Roy's puzzle to St Vincent at Rouen being Catholic and a Huguenot being baptised there, this I believe was common at that time because of the law to destroy Huguenot Churches in 1685 (please quote if I am wrong) so being the Huguenots were forced/had no choise but to baptise into the Catholic faith.My Jean Godefroy was baptised in 1707 "fils de Jean Godefroy et Francoise Marple de la R.P.R" (Religion Pretendue Reformee =Protestant Religion) Regards Robin Godefroy
