I would like to thank Chris Shelley for his listings of Godefroy births from Rouen, he has made me a very happy man because I think that he has found MY Jean Godefroy in 1684. All I need to do now is to find his marriage which I as yet have not found , it would have been about 1705, have checked St Vincent at Rouen, anybody got any thoughts how/where I might be able to locate it. He married Francoise Marple and one of his sons Jean was baptised at Rouen in 1707, where the other children were baptised I do not know. Regards Robin Godefroy godefroy@clara.co.uk
