Dear Judi By coincidence I have a brief note of an Isaac CABANE listed as an apprentice silversmith from St Martin's, Westminster in 1725 and also the marriage of Isac (sic) CABANES and Sarah BOOKER at St Mildred Poultry in 1744 (apparently recorded in Boyd's Marriage Index and also in a slightly different form on the IGI). I'll check for more details on the apprenticeship when I get home. Incidentally, does the box have any marks - maker's mark, hallmark etc?
