My wife's father, Warren B. Hoit (of Hemet, CA) tells me there are only a few Hoits in the country, and that, if someone is a Hoit, they are related. So I'm posting to see if there are any Hoits on the list and, if so, if you would be willing to help us out with a GEDCOM file or the likes.
