The people you are looking for are found in a book entitled "A Genealogical History of The Hoyt, Haight, and Hight Families". It was written in 1871 by David W. Hoyt, and is about 700 pages long. Your Thomas Haight is number #2838 on page #350. He is the son of David and Phebe Haight, who had five children (David, Samuel, THOMAS, Nicholas and Hannah). Thomas is a fifth generation descendant from Simon Hoyt. Simon came to the New World in 1629, and is the progenitor for all of us Hoyts. Simon died on Sept 1 1657 in Stamford CT.
