Hi Listmates, Found the following in the Fairbanks Genealogy book... Stephen FAIRBANK, of Pelham, MA and Richland, MI. Born in Athol, MA Jan. 21, 1788; lived in Pelham, where his children were born, and removed to Richland about 1836, where his death occurred Sept. 3, 1863. He m. 23 Sept, 1812, Nancy, daughter of Isaac and Polly (Danforth) BRIGGS. She was born in Athol, Oct. 10. 1793, and died in Paola, KS Apr. 6. 1871. Their 5th child, Hannah Graves FAIRBANK was b. 27 Apr, 1821; m. 28 Apr 1839 to Ira HOYT, son of Seymour and Anna (Pettibone) HOYT, who was b. 23 Mar 1816. Ira and Hannah's children were: 1) Harriet A. HOYT, b. 8 Feb 1844, m. with one son. 2) Oscar HOYT, b. 24 Jul 1846, m. Mrs. Julia Lyman (4 children). 3) Belden C. HOYT, b. 15 Dec, 1856; m. with 2 boys. 4) Julia I. HOYT, b. 25 Sep 1858, m. Samuel KENNIGH, no children. The family lived in Paola, KS and all stats are subject to the 1896 publication date of the book. Hope this helps someone!
