Her Mother was Violet platten, father Reginald Howes. I have to admit that this was a surprise to me for I was just looking for some information on My grandfather and found this. My dear mother always said she had something to talk to me about and I think now I know what. My Mothers name was actually Bettina Theresa Howes, but she was called Betty. Mom passed away March 12 2008, she was almost 88 years old, and we loved her dearly. She was a good woman and loved by all who knew her, but there was always something that she was very d=sad about and know I think I know what.
