Hi Sammie, and welcome to the list! We're a pretty small group so far but growing. The only addition I can make to your list of Samuel's children is Jacob Howrey, born 11 Feb 1814. He married about 1836 Sarah Elvira Thomas. They had at least one child, Sarah Ellen Howrey, born 24 March 1850, married 1867 Jacob Reid Fox, and died 3 July 1917 in Shelby Co, Indiana. My source for this information is Ellen Scheffler, EScheffler@gnn.com (1996). However, gnn.com is now out of business (merged with aol.com, I believe). I tried to send an email to Ellen a few weeks ago but it bounced. No such address. I tried a followup using Escheffler@aol.com. It didn't bounce but I also didn't hear back. The acknowledged expert on the Samuel Howry line is Pat Sorenson. The last address I have for her is 534 N. Township Rd, Yuba City, California 95991. I also have an email address for her (psorenson@jps.net) but several messages to that address have bounced in the past few weeks so it might not be valid any longer.
