Hi again, Sammie. Although I haven't looked at the records myself, I understand that there is no question but that both Isaac and Jacob are sons of Samuel. One was born 1814 and one was born 1816, although the info that's circulating among Howery researchers has them both born on different dates in 1814. Someone - I don't remember who - set me straight on this some years ago. Supposedly later records for each of them make it clear that Isaac was born in 1814 and Jacob in 1816.
