This info was sent to me by Jim Baker who had researched some Shelby Co. deed books: "William Howry is listed in Deed Book E (1834-1835), page 289, but his residence is given as Shelby Co. Also found this: Common Pleas Court Record Book 1 page 451 John Howery, Jerry M. Wickliff and Sarah J. Wickliff VS Charles, Samuel and Jacob Jr. Howery in a petition for partition. William Howrey died in 1850 leaving as his widow Catherine Howery who has since died and John Howrey, Sarah Jane the wife of Jerry M. Wickliff, Charles, Samuel and Jacob Howery Jr. owning the real estate in section 28, township, range 7. The appointed commission makes a desired partition and report their results to the court with a map if the same entered here. March 1862." Judie Cale Nelson
