I forwarded the information Sammie Leap posted to this list, to Pat Sorensen, and this is what she wrote back: ............................ Judie, I pulled up my data and found that the informant Velman Virgil Howrey b. 12 Mar 1900 Gentry co., Mo was the s/o Jasper R. Howery b. 11 Oct 1871 in Summerset, Warren co. Iowa moved to Gentry co. Mo and died 17 Jan 1955 in Butler co., Ks was the s/o David King Howery b. 11 Dec 1827 etc. so it was his grandson that gave the information. Maria would have been his ggrandmother. Please forward to anyone that wants this info. Pat
