Dorothy, Who were some of your folks coming to Texas? Some of my Howells left Union Parish Louisiana about that time and went to Texas. Like everyone else, I have Samuels, Johns, Levis, etc. Brothers named their sons exactly the same names and only birthdates or spouses have helped me to separate some of them. Have found dozens of Henry's, thousands of John's, and hundreds of Samuel's. All from Wales via VA, NC, & TN. Mine came to TX after THE WAR of 1861-65. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patt Carnevale" <dbltgen@webtv.net> To: <HOWELL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, 17 December, 2003 1:24 PM Subject: Re: [HOWELL] Howell siblings record...early 1800s SC > Keith - - > We wonder why these HOWELL families are so hard to find?????/ I have a > William Henry Harrison HOWELL born June 8, 1841 in Coshocton, OH.
