Yes, that is the son of David Howell. I have seen him listed as W.T., T.W., William and later in life as T.E.B. Never have figured out the TEB. He was Captain of a Riverboat in 1912 and was shot and killed by a man on another boat. This took place on the Green River near Evansville, Indiana, I think. I spend about 75% of my research time on these Howell and Wesson families of my wife. They are a lot of fun researching. David was the son of Phillip Howell and Mary Wesson of here in Lauderdale County, Alabama. They married here in 1825. I never have been able to trace the parents of Phillip Howell. Never have seen any post for their family except for the ones I have sent. Must not be anyone on the list that is related to them.
