Paula: I noticed your Howell line, most born in Pennsylvania. I wondered if you would have any connection to the Howells I am looking for. The parents (names not known) were born in Pennsylvania according to an 1880 Census. One of their children was born in Ohio. Did any of your connection leave Pennsylvania and move to Ohio that might have a son named Nathan B. Howell, born 1825 in Ohio. He died Oct 1880 in Woodland Township, Fulton County, Illinois. Nathan was married 3 times, 1st wife unknown, but there were two children: Stephen & Mary. Stephen was not in Illinois at the time of father's death. 2nd wife Priscilla Jane Cramblet, b. Ohio 1835, d. Fulton County, Illinois. Then had 10 children. 3rd wife Mrs Elizabeth Branham, they were married in Illinois with 2 children: Nathan R. Howell, Jeanetta May Howell. If you might have any information that would help us trace Nathan's family we would apprecate it very much. Our great grandmother came down this line. She was Mary of the first marriage.
