Hello Keith: Thanks for writing. I do need to look at the probate records of LCA and HCT. Since I posted the message I have had several people write. I do know that D.W. Howell had a sister that died in 1868. She was Mary Jane Howell and she married Phillip Washington Wright. There is a girl Mary A. or B. Wright living with Howell and his first wife in the 1870 HCT census. She is 3 years old and very well could be the correct child. I have some Wright information that list 2 children of Mary Jane (Gennie) Howell and P.W. Wright. They are Dora Etta 1865 and Mary Alice 1867. This Mary Alice could be the one on the 1870 Census but this one died in 1877. My Alice Beatrice married, had children and died in 1908. Thanks for any more help you might send.
