Hi family, This message is primarily for those cousins who have websites. You'll understand why I'm saying that as you read further... Cousin Tom Watkins brought up a suggestion to me that I'll in turn bring up to you: "...have you given any thought to setting up a Howell Web Ring with the Research Room being the anchor site?" Actually, I don't think it's a bad idea at all. :) For those of you who don't know what webrings are ~ picture a circle of covered wagons. Each individual wagon is someone's website. The websites are tied together into one ring that you can hop from one to another with by clicking on embedded code of the webring's logo. It may not happen for a few months because I *really* want to get our domain up to speed and put a splash page on the front so we can build different areas (like a Web ring :) ). However, if we have 5 or more Howell websites already, perhaps it would be in our best interests to begin one as early as next month. Since we are a composite family, maybe we could call it the "4H Webring"??? So, my questions to you are: 1. Do you have a Howell/Howle website? 2. Would you be interested in forming a webring with the Research Center being the anchor site? 3. Will it be the "4H Webring" or what? Please send your responses directly to me at <[email protected]>.
